Curtis Nielson, PE, LEED AP
Curtis Nielson is an LEED Accredited Professional and an Engineer in Training pursuing his professional license. He has over six years of experience working in the engineering field and has a Bachelors degree in Integrated Engineering from Southern Utah University. He is proficient with Civil 3D, GIS, WaterCad and other modeling software. Some of Curtis' project experience includes municipal and private master planning, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling of systems, GIS mapping, preparing Preliminary Engineering Reports and Environmental Assessments, pursuing funding for projects, and overseeing project design and construction. His recent projects include planning, acquiring funding, and designing water systems for municipalities, water rights research and beneficial use planning, and pavement management using GIS. Curtis enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, softball and basketball, water sports and camping.
